SITUATION GÉOGRAPHIQUE

The Chantier Naval Forillon inc. is srategically located at the eastern tip of the Gaspé peninsula, 650 km from Quebec city in the lower St. Lawrence.

We are located in Gaspé, which is one of the most maritime cities in Québec. This gives us a major advantage in maritime trade.

By road

Route 132 leads to Gaspé. It is a scenic belt route that goes all around the Gaspe peninsula. Also, route 198 can also be taken to Gaspé, going throught Murdochville.

Railway

Via Rail trains arrive in and depart from Gaspé on Mondays, Thursdays ans Saturdays, going to and from Matapédia, Rimouski, Quebec City and Montreal.

By plane

Gaspé has an airport and a 4500 feet long landing strip. Several daily flights to and from Montreal and Quebec City are available, and take less than three hours.

By boat

Gaspé has one of the most promising deepwater ports in North America , allowing large ships to take shelter from bad weather, winter or summer. The Gaspé and Riviere-au-Renard marinas can take in over a hundred sailboats, including solo boats.
