Cambridge Bay I and II Barges – 2012

Cambridge Bay I and II Barges – 2012

The barges Cambridge Bay I and II are used to transport goods from supply ships to a number of villages in northern Quebec. Once in the water, the barges are joined together, pushed by a tug and propelled by an on-board hydraulic motor. Very robust despite their shallow draft, these barges are the perfect solution for supplying projects in remote areas.
